BLAST Results:

  • most were mitochondrial

We can download the sequences from the 2015 paper, but not the list of genes 2013 Paper has list of genes with gene ontology

We are using DESeq standard to normalize(?) data

  • used to normalize expression
    • normalizes for the length of the gene per million reads
    • FPKM values
