How Do I Learn Best?
The VARK Questionnaire (version 3)

This VARK (Visual, Aural, Read/write, Kinesthetic) questionnaire helps you learn about your preferences for the way you work with information. You have a preferred learning style and one part of that learning style is your preference for the intake and output of ideas and information. Choose the answers which best explains your preferences and click on the box next to the letter.

Choose more than one answer if a single answer does not match your perception. Leave blank any question which does not apply, but try to give an answer for at least 10 of the 13 questions.

When you have completed the questionnaire, the web sitse will automatically calculate your preference, using a perl script. You will see a copy of your VARK score and a record will be retained for the instructor. A second function of this VARK questionnarie is to help your teacher understand how you learn best so information can be tailored to your style of learning.

Finally, we are conducting research to determine the most effective way of presenting some information. We want to correlate our presentation with each student's VARK score. Eventually we'd like to publish our findings.

By clicking on the permission granted button, you give us permission to use your data in our research project. Your names will not be associated with the data and the information will be kept on a secure server for the duration of the study and then be destroyed. Participation in this study is voluntary and does not affect your grade.
