To find genes whose expression increases by a factor of at least 4 at any time during the diauxic shift experiment, check the first box, select Max, value, > 4. This search finds 181 genes (183 are reported in the paper). The expression profiles of these 181 genes (before log transformation) are shown in the following plot:

To find genes whose expression diminishes by a factor of at least 4 at any time during the diauxic shift experiment, check the first box, select Min, value, < .25.
