Suppressor Suppressor Logic (SSL)
Design Group A
The designs in this group are somewhat simpler than those in Group B, and use frameshift suppressors, although termination suppressors could be substituted.
Design Group B
This group of designs is a little more complicated, and uses termination suppressors, although frameshift suppressors could be substituted.
Based on Amber (UAG) and Opal (UGA) suppressor tRNAs
Used in Anderson et al. to encode an AND gate
PoPS inputs A or B control Amber or Opal suppressor production
Repressors and/or activators control PoPS output
Basic logic circuits produced
