Xylose (glucose) isomerase)
From GcatWiki
Xylose isomerase (EC 5.3.1.5), also known D-xylose isomerase, is an enzyme that catalyzes the chemical reaction that converts D-xylose into D-xylulose. It is used industrially to process glucose to fructose in order to make high-fructose corn syrup. The JGI database predicts that this enzyme is present in the Halorhabdus utahensis genome.
